Deep in thoughts

Trying to sleep but still awake
Deep down where no one follows
Why, For heavens sake?
Still awake
Still on the bottom of a thoughts filled lake.
Can't reach the top
Can't stop
Thinking
Blinking

It's after midnight now
And still somehow
I try to sleep and get some rest
Trying my best
At the blue hour
I am awake
